We do not have the space at our facility to take care of these birds, and they pose a potential health danger to our birds. In many cases, it is best to leave wildlife alone. Please contact a wildlife rehabilitator before you attempt to take in a wild animal. If the animal is already in your possession, please call a licensed rehabilitator as soon as possible.
To find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your area, you can visit these websites: Greenville/Eastern NC: http://www.easternwildlifecenter.com or (252) 795-5363 for emergencies Other areas: http://www.ncwildliferehab.org/ (click on "Members" or "Local Orgs" for contact information by region)
