Park in the Dark: Wings of the Night
See Sylvan Heights Bird Park - after dark! Enjoy an after-hours tour, learn about nocturnal creatures, build a bat box, and camp out in a tree house!
Park in the Dark is for youth groups ages 7-12 and their adult chaperones.
Program Description & Details
Youth and their adult chaperones will enjoy a unique opportunity to enjoy Sylvan Heights Bird Park after hours and in the dark. Program fee will include bird encounters, tour of a portion of the park at night, educational programs, building a bat box, dinner, snack and breakfast. Participants will enjoy an exclusive camping experience by spending the night in a tree house overlooking the wetlands. Bathroom facilities are located near the Tree House. Participants are invited to tour the park on their own the next morning after the program concludes at 9am.
Check in between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Check out at 9am
Fee: $65 per person for both youth and chaperones (a minimum of a 1:8 adult to child ratio is required.)
Please note: a minimum of 20 participants is required to schedule Park in the Dark; the maximum number of participants is 26.
