Black-necked Swan  ( Cygnus Melanocoryphus)

• Most aquatic swan- nearly helpless ashore

Habitat:  The Black-Necked Swan lives in the southern third of South America and the Falkland Islands.   They are common in their natural habitat and have steady populations.  They are bred regularly but the species has become more established in recent years.
